Hello & welcome to our free-range farm shop.
Nestled in Gaisgill on the south western fells of Cumbria, lies our family run working farm, where we raise free-range rare breed livestock.
Our intention has always been to provide fantastic tasting free-range meat using the highest welfare standards possible whilst remaining great value. You can be guaranteed that all our animals have been very well looked after!
We're extremely passionate about taste. We make sure our livestock tastes how meat used to before cheap intensively farmed imports became popular through the supermarkets!
Our pigs are the old traditional English breed; Gloucester Old Spot - known for its outstanding flavour. They produce amazing tasting bacon & sausage sandwiches and along with our Aberdeen Angus burgers make the perfect barbeque food!
Our herd of free-range Aberdeen Angus cattle are fed mainly on a grass diet and are hung for a minimum of 24 days maturing on the bone. Ensuring that our beef is well marbled, succulent and tastes wondrous when you come to eat it.
All our lambs roam free on the Cumbrian fells, ensuring our lamb and mutton is at its best - we use Herdwick & Swaledales, which are indigenous to Cumbria and produce an astounding flavour.
Ordering couldn’t be easier; you can either visit our Farmshop in Kendal, call us on 07739 799122 or online using Paypal on our produce page - we're sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised at our outstanding value for money!!
